I'm sure the recipients were more than pleased to receive them.

Those cookies would also be eaten in my family, I'm sure. But bad luck, I don't make cookies. But usually one of my sons brings some when they come for Christmas. This year it was my oldest son. When my daughter was still living at home she always made lots and lots of different cookies around Christmas, she just likes baking. I think I would like to have the ones that arena the left and on the right side of the plate. This cinnamon buns look so delicious, I think I could have them for breakfast as well :))

I'm looking forward to a new year visiting your blog and admiring your wonderful stitching and finishing.Brigittehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03922122091202289138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2293399242092873784.post-35129143490955311912018-01-23T08:41:13.223-05:002018-01-23T08:41:13.223-05:00Ooh, what a lovely post full of interesting snipp...Ooh, what a lovely post full of interesting snippets and wonderful photos. I love it when Christmas lingers on into January. It's too sudden a change for me to go from the razzmatazz of glitz and glitter to bare walls and surfaces :-) I like to take it steady so seeing your beautiful Christmas ornaments and tasty Land of Nod cinnamon buns has set me up a treat :-)
I have to say, Carol, I have fallen in love with your Renato Parolin ornament and the beautiful icy blue thread you have stitched it in. Not many ornaments inspire me to want to stitch straight away nowadays but I really want to stitch this. I will just have to curb my enthusiasm as frustratingly, patterns and thread need to be ordered....haha!! I'm sure you know the scenario :-) I love the LHN Design too and have stitched that myself and also received it as a gift. It really sums up the festive spirit just like a vintage Christmas card. Your finishing on all your ornaments is always a joy to see.
What a tinker Spike is but then who can blame him. It isn't easy to resist a piece of dangling paper that keep unravelling every time you touch it :-) credit to him for trying to tidy up...haha!
The cinnamon buns...what can I say! I'm off to find the recipe...haha!
A very happy New Year to you Carol. May it bring you as much happiness as your new year post has given us :-) angelaswebyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15450570230777338043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2293399242092873784.post-73744098581153213472018-01-22T04:50:27.693-05:002018-01-22T04:50:27.693-05:00Ih Carol, all your gift-ornaments are really beaut...Ih Carol, all your gift-ornaments are really beautiful.
